Mardinspor’s 50,000 Jerseys to Ignite Youth Passion

Mardinspor launched a youth gear drive, handing out 50,000 jerseys to children aged 8‑15 across ten district municipalities. Club president Rıdvan Aşar and local mayors pledged support to nurture early fan loyalty and boost the city’s sporting culture.
Mardinspor President Rıdvan Aşar and his board members visited the mayors of Artuklu, Ömerli, Savur and Yeşilli to request their backing for a new youth initiative.
The “50 Bin Forma Projesi” targets children between 8 and 15 years old and plans to collaborate with all ten district municipalities of Mardin. Its goal is to help youngsters connect with Mardinspor, fostering a love for sport and team spirit from an early age.
Under the scheme, the four municipalities of Artuklu, Ömerli, Savur and Yeşilli will receive Mardinspor jerseys. Distribution to kids is expected to widen the club’s fan base and embed its identity in the community.
The project, which aims to place a total of 50,000 jerseys in the hands of children, is designed to increase Mardinspor’s visibility city‑wide, strengthen supporter loyalty, encourage youth participation in sports, and cultivate a deep affection for the club among the younger generation.
Club President Rıdvan Aşar, along with board members Halil Homan, Ercan Ayanoğlu and Kadir Üründü, visited the district mayors and presented them with personalized jerseys as a symbol of partnership.
Aşar thanked the mayors for their interest, support and close cooperation, noting that Mardin is uniting around Mardinspor. He stressed that the collective effort of the city’s leaders, businesses and fans is giving the club momentum for the future and expressed confidence that together they will carry Mardinspor into stronger days ahead.
