Ragnarok Zero: 2nd OBT Dates Announced for July 7‑15

Gravity Game Unite (GGU), the Malaysian branch of global gaming giant Gravity, has unveiled the schedule for the second open beta test (OBT) of its PC MMORPG “Ragnarok Zero: Global.” The closed testing period will run from 09:00 to 07:59 (Malaysia time) on July 7‑15.

During the 2nd OBT, Ragnarok Zero: Global will introduce a host of fresh features aimed at enriching the player experience. Highlights include the linked mini‑game “Get Poring,” where users collect unique Poring companions in a side title and transfer them into Ragnarok Zero; “RO Factory,” the series’ first user‑generated content (UGC) tool that lets gamers design custom in‑game cosmetics; and a new “MVP Raid” mode where groups can battle powerful MVP monsters for varied rewards and bonus prizes.

The first OBT, held in May, confirmed strong global interest and generated a flood of feedback, especially from European players, prompting GGU to roll out these updates ahead of the second test. Players from Southeast Asia, Europe and Oceania can sign up via the official website and download the PC client to take part.

According to Harry Choi, head of Gravity Game Unite, the July beta will let the community test the new linked game, the inaugural UGC factory, and additional content while gathering insights for the upcoming official launch. “We look forward to your participation and feedback as we fine‑tune the experience for a worldwide release,” he said.
